DAYS OF DARKNESS

From noted historian writer and artist, Wayne Vansant, comes a tale of the Pacific War from the beginning at the devastation at Pearl Harbor to the incredible victory at Midway.  The story is told via the Cahill family who were not only in the surprise attack on Hawaii but also at the turning point of the battle where the US turned the tide of the war at Midway.

Wayne Vansant  served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, and graduated from the Atlanta College of Art in 1975. His first comic works appeared in Marvel's Savage Tales, and he was the main artist for The 'Nam (from Marvel Comics)  for more than 50 issues.  As well as doing work for Eclipse, Dark Horse, Byron Priess and Caliber, he created a series of non-fiction, military history comics called the Heritage Collection, which covered the Civil War and World War II.

Days of Darkness was originally published as a six issue series from Apple Comics and then later collected as a graphic novel from Caliber.  The graphic novel has been out of print for over a decade and Transfuzion is proud to be bringing it back in print along with a number of other projects from Wayne Vansant.
